Earlier in the tournament, UH swept Tennessee and defeated USC in 4-sets to improve their tournament record to 2-0. The Bows looked to take the tournament title against the Wolf Pack. Heather Bown led all attackers with 21 kills, hit .486, had 10 digs and was in on 11 of UH’s 20 total team blocks. Lily Kahumoku chipped in 12 kills and 5 digs, while Jessica Sudduth recorded the double-double (10 kills, 11 digs) and had 5 service aces. A 4-set win for Hawaii (15-8, 15-6, 14-16, 15-2) gave them the tournament title and improved their overall record to 7-0.
