The Kahuku Red Raiders maintained their perfect record through the 2021 season with a win over the Mililani Trojans in last night’s OIA Open Division Championship Game. Under the bright lights and steady drizzle in Leilehua, the Red Raiders fell behind quickly, 0-14 on two early interceptions by Mililani’s Joshua Foster and Gavin Hunter. However, they were able to slowly claw back into the game, tying the score in the third quarter and taking the lead in the fourth with a 26-yard TD from Waika Crawford to Liona Lefau.

It’s not over for the Trojans though, as we will see both teams in the state tournament later this month.
