The ‘Iolani Raiders put up a fearless effort against the #3 ranked team in the nation last night, but Sierra Canyon managed to avoid an upset after trailing to the Raiders 31, 29 at the half. Ramel Lloyd of the Trailblazers put up 20 points, while ‘Iolani freshman JJ Mandaquit ended the night with a stunning 18 points. Bronny James put up just 4 points due to early foul trouble. Final score: ‘Iolani 49, Sierra Canyon 66.
