The University of Hawaii men’s basketball team dropped to 0-2 in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic last night after falling to South Florida, 76-69. Missing their top two post players (Bernardo Da Silva and Mate Colina), the Rainbow Warriors were dominated inside, as the Bulls won the battle of the boards, 35-22. Guard Noel Coleman once again led Hawaii with a game-high 22 points, while forward Kamaka Hepa chipped in with 16. Hawaii will play Northern Iowa on Christmas Day for seventh place in the tournament.
