You might say Amy Atwell and basketball have quite a long-distance relationship going. In fact, this past Saturday night at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center, the sixth-year forward out of South Perth, Australia set a new Rainbow Wahine record for most career three-pointers. Atwell has now made 168 shots from beyond the arc, one more than the previous record holder, Megan Tinnin. With at least nine more games remaining on the team’s schedule, the sharp-shooting forward will have plenty of opportunities to keep firing away and extend her mark.
