No. 1-ranked and defending national champion Oklahoma proved to be too much for the University of Hawaii softball team last night, shutting out the home team, 11-0, at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. Still, the 1,200 fans in attendance did get to witness a bit of history in the making, as Hauula’s Jocelyn Alo set a new NCAA record for career home runs. Her three-run blast in the sixth inning was the 96th of her storied career.
Photographer David Croxford was at the game to capture all the action, including Alo’s record-setting ”ALO-ha” ball.
