There’s something about being present and witnessing people giving back to the community in person (especially to the keiki). To see the eyes of the children light up and the smile across their faces is simply a priceless moment.
Adam Shipley, founder of TUFF (The Uniform Funding Foundation) reached out to me last year as they were planning their donation of brand new uniforms to two youth teams on ‘Oahu. He asked if ESPN Honolulu could be there and before I knew it they were in Hawai’i ready to do their thing!
Mahalo to TUFF for creating special moments in the lives of these Hawai’i children. These are the moments they will never forget.
