‘Iolani, the reigning HHSAA DI Champions, open their 2022 season with a nonleague 62-27 win over Kaiser at Ted Fukushima Athletic Complex.
Iolani’s Keao Kawaakoa had a special night as he led the Raiders with 143 all-purpose yards and 4TDs. Kaiser’s Donovan Reis contributed massively as a passer, rusher, and receiver amassing 136 passing yards, 122 rushing yards and 2 TDs, and 34 receiving yards.
