This week on Hawaii Football Now- Episode 62, Jordan Helle and Hunter Hughes recap Hawaii’s 27-20 loss to Wyoming this past Saturday. Of course as a result of the loss, Hawaii had to relinquish their possession of the Paniolo Trophy which the two team compete for in every game they play against one another.
The difference maker in this game was the Cowboy’s rushing attack. Wyoming amassed 365 rushing yards, the second most yards given up on the ground since Hawaii’s Week 0 game against Vanderbilt where they allowed 404 yards on the ground.
For their week 10 match up, Hawaii will travel to take on one of their longest standing rivals, the Fresno State Bulldogs on November 5 at 4:30pm HST. Fresno State will be coming into this game with some momentum as they came back to win their game against San Diego State 32-28 this past Saturday. At the time of this episode’s recording, the Bulldogs are 24.5 point favorites.
