Waimea advances to the HHSAA DII Softball Championship to play against Pac-Five after defeating KS-Hawaii, 12-5.
The bats were warm as Waimea hit 13 times as opposed to KS-Hawaii’s 7. Kaelyn Banquel and Kayla Prigge each had a home run in the game and helped grow the Menehune’s lead.
KS-Hawaii fought hard but ultimately would be stopped by Waimea’s defensive efforts.
Mahalo to City Mill and SportStan for supporting our high school softball photo galleries and sports in Hawaiʻi!
