Sistahhood Grindz and Giovanni Pastrami recently organized a valuable career development event for the University of Hawai’i Wahine volleyball team. In this initiative, they connected professionals from various fields with the players to guide them in exploring potential career paths.
This marks the second phase of their program, where they have extended their focus beyond just nutrition to include comprehensive career planning.
Ryan Tanaka and Giovanni Pastrami have been pivotal roles in hosting this event and for their dedicated efforts in promoting the professional growth of our student-athletes. Their commitment to empowering these young athletes with both life skills and career insights is truly commendable and paves the way for a brighter future for the team members.
In addition, Ryan Tanaka and Giovanni Pastrami are a donation site for drop-off supplies for the aid of our ‘Ohana in Maui. They are accepting essentials such as clothes, shoes, blankets, sleeping bags, etc. All supplies will be sent over to aid in relief efforts for the victims of the fires in Maui.
