Mililani dominated Kapolei with a 56-0 victory in front of a homecoming crowd of about 3,000 fans. Kini McMillan played a standout game, passing for 457 yards and contributing to six touchdowns. This win marked Mililani’s seventh consecutive victory, putting them at 7-1 overall and 5-0 in league play. They now lead the Oahu Interscholastic Association’s Open Division Group B standings. Kapolei, on the other hand, saw their six-game win streak come to an end, bringing them to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the league. The game quickly turned one-sided for Kapolei, with Mililani scoring touchdowns on their first five possessions. The entire second half was played under the running clock mercy rule. This win secures the top seed in Group B for Mililani in the upcoming OIA Open Division tournament, granting them a bye into the semifinals.
