Mid-Pacific spoils the Spartans’ homecoming with a nail-biting 46-44 win. The Owl’s Darius Chizer scored a team-high 11 points in the game, including two clutch free-throws with four seconds left in the game to help his team to win their first divisional game of the season.
The Spartans were down by as many as eight points late in the fourth quarter but closed the gap with a three-point shot from Nixis Yamauchi. Yamaguchi led the Spartans with 13-point in the game.
