In a thrilling OIA basketball matchup, Mililani’s senior forward, Lauvai Pine, played a crucial role, converting a go-ahead 3-point play in the final moments. Mililani beat Leilehua 52-50, securing the top seed in the OIA West Division I playoffs and maintaining an unbeaten record for the third straight season. Pine scored 19 points, leading the team, while Timothy Dorn contributed with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds.
