In a thrilling upset, the Kalaheo boys basketball team triumphed over fifth-ranked Mililani with a nail-biting 51-48 victory in the Heide & Cook HHSAA Boys Basketball State Tournament. The standout performance came from junior guard CJ Bostic, who showcased his all-around skills with 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Kalaheo, with a record of 20-13, now advances to the quarterfinals, eyeing their first state title since 2015.
The Mustangs will face Baldwin in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Feb. 22.
