The senior quarterback, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele throws for 403 yards and 5 touchdowns to lift the Sabers past the Governors. Campbell’s Zayden Alviar-Costa led the Sabers with 7 receptions, 142 yards which included an 80 yard touchdown late in the game. The Gov’s Lauititi Liufau recorded the first interception against Sagapolutele and housed it for the Gov’s lone score, a 51 yard pick six.
Campbell improves to 3-0 while Farrington falls to 3-2. The Sabers will gear up to face OIA opponent Kapolei next Saturday, September 21 while the Govs will look to bounce back against Kahuku.
