Kahuku, the reigning three-time state champion, struggled offensively, managing only 114 total yards and a single touchdown. Mater Dei’s defense shined, holding a 31-0 lead by the third quarter. Both teams faced penalty issues, with Kahuku flagged 14 times for 90 yards.
