Kapolei rallied late to overcome Farrington, earning a hard-fought 21-10 road win. The Hurricanes trailed for nearly two quarters before taking control in the fourth, with quarterback Liatama Amisone contributing to all three of their scores. Amisone rushed for 157 yards, including a go-ahead 3-yard run in the fourth quarter and a 25-yard touchdown to seal the game.
Farrington’s defense limited Amisone to 80 passing yards and intercepted him twice, but Kapolei’s defense was dominant, recording six sacks and holding Farrington to just 183 total yards. Despite leading 10-7 at halftime and into the third quarter, Farrington couldn’t hold off Kapolei’s fourth-quarter surge.
