For the first time since 2011, Campbell snapped a 16-game losing streak to Mililani with a dominant 41-20 victory. Led by quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, who threw for 350 yards and six touchdowns, the Sabers’ offense overwhelmed Mililani. Four different receivers scored, with Zayden Alviar-Costa and Rusten Abang-Perez each catching two touchdowns.
Despite Sagapolutele’s stellar performance, Mililani kept pace for three quarters, with Nakoa Kahana-Travis rushing for 117 yards and two touchdowns. However, Campbell’s defense tightened in the fourth quarter, forcing two key stops to secure the win. Defensive leaders included Zechariah Alualu-Tuiolemotu and Antonio Castro, who combined for four sacks.
Campbell now sets its sights on Waipahu, while Mililani prepares to face Farrington.
