Punahou rallied from a 13-3 deficit to defeat Kamehameha 25-13 last night. Kamehameha’s early momentum, fueled by a strong defense and a touchdown from RB Nainoa Melchor, quickly faded as Punahou’s sophomore-freshman duo, Zion White and Hunter Fujikawa, took over. White’s two second-half touchdowns and senior Ko’o Kia’s dominant defensive play sealed the win, allowing the Buffanblu to close out Senior Night in style. With the victory, Punahou will face Saint Louis next week in their final ILH regular season matchup.
