Chaminade University senior and Pearl City alumna Taryn Fujioka etched her name in the record books on Monday, becoming the program’s all-time hits leader. Playing against Dominican, Fujioka’s milestone 169th career hit came in dramatic fashion—a solo home run that solidified her place in Chaminade softball history.

The standout infielder, known for her consistency and leadership, didn’t stop there. She has since increased her total to 172 hits and continues to build on an already impressive career. As a key player for the Silverswords, Fujioka’s impact on the program extends beyond the record books, serving as an inspiration for future generations of Chaminade athletes.

With the season still underway, there’s no telling how high Fujioka will set the bar. One thing is certain—her name will be remembered among the all-time greats in Chaminade softball history.
