Kalani edged out Roosevelt 6-5 in a closely contested game, with Joseph Yamauchi earning the win after pitching 4 innings and giving up just one run. Roosevelt’s Luke Tausivi had a standout performance with 4 hits, but Kalani’s offense, led by Evan Cavaco who went 2-for-4 on the day and Chase Konishi who scored two runs, held on for the victory. Colby Taniguchi closed out the game for Kalani, earning the save with a perfect inning of relief.
