The Maryknoll Girl’s Basketball Team won their last 15 games including tonight’s ILH match up against Punahou. Leading the Spartans in scoring was Taimane Faleafine-Auwae who scored a season-high 16 points.
Punahou’s Laynee Torres-Kahapea, who came into this game averaging just over 21 points per game in the her last six games, was held to just 11 points. Keilani Stewart also contributed 11 points for the Buff n Blu.
Both teams play next on Wednesday, January 11th. Punahou will host Iolani at 6:30pm while Maryknoll travels to Kamehameha to play at 6:30pm.
