One of the most entertaining high school softball games of the year featured four homeruns and a grand slam by Mua Williams in the bottom of the 6th inning which opened the flood gates for Kamehameha. Williams was by far the stand out among the other stars on Punahou and Kamehameha; she went 3-for-4 with two homeruns and amassed eight RBIs on the night.
This was an absolute battle between these two ILH powerhouse schools which featured about five lead changes throughout the night. For Punahou, the highlight of the night was Aliya Hashimoto’s three run blast which gave the Buff n Blu the lead in the top of the 5th inning.
