The most successful sports program in all of Hawaii high school athletics, the Punahou Boy’s Volleyball Team adds another State Title to their name. Their reverse sweep win against the ILH Champs, Kamehameha-Kapalama marks their 10th consecutive state championship and 39th in school history. Punahou’s Emanuele Clini led his team with 23 kills and 3 aces. The Warrior’s Kyler Wade had a match-high 30 kills and 3 aces as well.
At the Division II level, the unranked Saint Louis Crusaders defeat the undefeated University Lab Jr. Bows in four sets to claim their first state championship in school history. The Jr. Bow’s Koa Laboy had a match-high 20 kills and 2 aces while the Crusader’s Pupualii Sepulona and Trhijton James Setik both had team-high 15 kills.
