HK Gold vs Fear 808- FINAL 6-3
In the first 10u Cal Ripken State semi-final game, HK Gold faced Fear 808. In the top of the 2nd inning, HK Gold scored the first run of the game on a triple to the left center gap which scored the runner from first base. Fear 808 answered immediately with a run of their own in the bottom half of the inning; with two outs and the bases loaded, a walked batter scores the run.
HK Gold was not done yet though, they put up three runs in the top of the third and one run in the fourth and fifth inning. Fear 808 closed the deficit by two runs in the bottom of the fifth but could not cover the full distance. HK Gold defeated Fear 808, 6-3 and advanced to the 10u Cal Ripken State Championship
Westside Bombers vs Mililani Kings: FINAL 11-4
In the second semi-final match up, the number one seed Westside Bombers dominated the Mililani Kings, 11-4 and secured their spot in the championship game. The Kings took a quick 2-0 lead in the top of the first on A. Fajota’s single which scored C. Matsumoto and B. Asato. The Bombers answered right back, two fold with a two run homerun from I. Saoit and E. Roger’s two RBI single.
The Bomber’s added to their total in the bottom of the second and fifth to seal their spot in the Championship game against HK Gold.
