It was an offensive field day for both the Punahou Buff n Blue and the Iolani Raiders. Combined, the two teams amassed 38 hits and 38 runs. Punahou’s Taryn Ho, Lexi Hirahara, and Tasi Taufahema all had four hits each. Ho smashed two home runs and Hirahara had one of her own.
Trailing 16-7 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Iolani came all the way back and minimized their deficit to one run. However, in the top of the seventh, Punahou answered back with seven runs and put the game out of reach for the Raiders.
