Nakoa Kahana-Travis powers Mililani to 20-14 OT triumph over Farrington

Nakoa Kahana-Travis scored both the opening and game-winning touchdowns in Mililani’s 20-14 overtime victory over Farrington. Backup QB Kekoa Koong threw two second-quarter touchdowns, helping Mililani build a 14-0 lead before Farrington rallied.

Chansen Smith’s 80-yard touchdown run and Lauititi Liufau’s third-quarter score tied the game, but neither team could score in regulation. In overtime, Farrington’s drive stalled, and Mililani sealed the win with a Carter-to-Kahana-Travis touchdown.

Mililani’s defense recorded five sacks, with standout performances from Chevy Robinson and Isaiah Iosefa. Farrington’s defense kept it close with seven tackles for loss and an interception by Zion Vea.
