The University of Hawai’i football team, led by quarterback Brayden Schager’s impressive performance, secured a 34-13 Homecoming victory over Nevada, marking their first conference win of the season.
Schager rushed for a career-high 120 yards and four touchdowns, tying the program record for rushing scores by a quarterback, while the Rainbow Warriors accumulated 242 rushing yards overall.
The UH defense also excelled, making key stops and forcing turnovers, as the team snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 3-5 on the season.
