Saint Louis rallied from an early deficit to overpower Punahou 35-3 at Radford, keeping the Buff ‘N Blue out of the end zone for the first time this season. Nainoa Lopes threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns, while Titan Lacaden scored both on the ground and through the air.
With this win, the Crusaders advance to face Kamehameha on Nov. 8 for the second-round title and a potential Open Division berth. Punahou’s offense struggled, missing key rusher Nelson Aau, and freshman quarterback Hunter Fujikawa completed only 9 of 27 passes for 74 yards against a strong Saint Louis defense.
