October 23, 2010 – Playing in its second to last season in the Western Athletic Conference, the Rainbow Wahine began conference play perfect. As in no conference losses. As in no set losses in conference play. After a 3-0 sweep at Idaho to begin the roadtrip, the fourth ranked Bows stayed in the Gem state to face the Boise State Broncos for match two of their three-match road-trip. Idaho native (Eagle, ID) Brittany Hewitt had 8 kills to hit .429 and was in on six of Hawaii’s 10 blocks on the night. A 25-13, 25-13, 25-20 win for UH moved their record to 18-1 overall and still perfect in WAC play at 8-0. This was the final WAC match for UH facing Boise State at Bronco gym because on July 1, 2011, the Broncos would officially join the Mountain West Conference.
