The University of Hawaii men’s basketball team found their groove, winning their third straight game against UC San Diego, 79-56. Senior forward Jerome Desrosiers put up a season-high 18 points and also recorded 13 rebounds. Third-year guard Junior Madut also had a good night too, contributing 15 points and adding four rebounds and two assists.
The ‘Bows improved to 7-5 overall and 2-0 in the Big West Conference. Next, the team will travel to California to play against CSU Bakersfield and Cal Poly on Thursday, Jan. 20, and Saturday, Jan. 22.
